One of the things I forgot to mention on our busy Saturday morning this past weekend was our ward Polar Express Christmas Breakfast! Let me tell you...we love our ward! As I mentioned, the theme of our Christmas breakfast came from the movie and book, "The Polar Express". When we arrived, one of the brethren stood at the door to hand us a 'train ticket' and before we "boarded" the cultural hall Ü, there was a conductor checking our tickets and punching a hole in them. The tables were so cutely decorated! The activities committee were dressed as railroad engineers and each table had paper train tracks running through the middle adorned with acorns, sticks and snow flurries. Yep, so creative!
We filled our tummies with scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes, fruits and washed it down with milk and apple juice. After breakfast, a few of the young men came out with chef hats and served everyone hot chocolate while the "Hot Chocolate Song" from the Polar Express Movie played (without the fancy choreography of course lol)! Yep, so cute...again! Ü Here's a video clip of the scene from the movie. Ü
We had to leave early to in order to make it to Build & Grow but just as we were leaving they had all of the primary children gather around one of the brethren as he read the Polar Express book. With all of the busy'ness that was going on that Saturday morning, I'm so glad we took the time to make it over to our ward activity. What a treat! Ü
(Mady & Daddy who's struggling to stay awake from a 12 hours shift Ü) (Miss Mady before her "I'm tired" meltdown lol)
We are Fred and Shenna Frost and we have 2 beautiful girls, Sariah & Madysen. We were sealed as an eternal family in the Los Angeles Temple on August 12, 2006 and it's been heaven ever since! We love being members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Ü Fred is a foreman in the dairy industry as well as a graphic artist. He is such a kind and easy going person and I am always amazed at how much talent he possesses. I am spoiled and I get to be a SAHM! Ü I have a passion for many things which includes photography, photoshop, crafts, and baking among others. Our oldest, Sariah, is in 5th grade and is way ahead of her time! She loves to read and write and is so intelligent and loving. Our youngest, Madysen, is 5 years old and is always smiling! She has been talking since she was 9 months old and can hold a conversation with you for hours! She's quite a girly-girl and will dance in front of anyone! lol We don't always have it together, but together we have it all!!
