We've been taking our girls to the Build & Grow Clinics for almost a year now and I can't believe I haven't blogged about it! (At least, I don't think I have Ü) Build & Grow is a workshop clinic that is put on by Lowe's. Children can build simple wooden projects/toys on their own to take home and keep. Each child receives an apron and goggles and after completing each project they receive a certificate and a specific merit badge for what they built that can be sewn onto heir aprons! It's a great confidence builder and my girls love going. What's even better is that it's free! You can go to your local Lowe's and sign up or you can sign up at www.lowesbuildandgrow.com. My brother-in-law works at a Lowe's in Ca and he says you can actually just do a walk-in too. The project our girls did today was a really cool one because it's part 1 of a 3 part train they'll be doing for the month of December...they can't wait to complete it. We seriously love us some Build & Grow. Ü
LOL...My girls always make sure I get the badges before we leave with their projects...I'm slacking on sewing them onto their aprons but I'm almost done catching up! :0)
We are Fred and Shenna Frost and we have 2 beautiful girls, Sariah & Madysen. We were sealed as an eternal family in the Los Angeles Temple on August 12, 2006 and it's been heaven ever since! We love being members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Ü Fred is a foreman in the dairy industry as well as a graphic artist. He is such a kind and easy going person and I am always amazed at how much talent he possesses. I am spoiled and I get to be a SAHM! Ü I have a passion for many things which includes photography, photoshop, crafts, and baking among others. Our oldest, Sariah, is in 5th grade and is way ahead of her time! She loves to read and write and is so intelligent and loving. Our youngest, Madysen, is 5 years old and is always smiling! She has been talking since she was 9 months old and can hold a conversation with you for hours! She's quite a girly-girl and will dance in front of anyone! lol We don't always have it together, but together we have it all!!
