This weekend we celebrated Easter and it was awesome! We attended church, as usual, and it was wonderful to hear and participate in the lessons and testimonies that were born. Our girls and their cousin Hadyn got new Easter outfits from their auntySeli the week before and they looked so adorable on Sunday!
After church we had dinner at mom's house and of course she outdid herself making lamb stir-fry, pork chops, chicken, fish, salads and much more....it was delicious! We hid eggs outside after dinner and the kids had such a fun time searching for them. Their baskets were overflowing with eggs & candy by the time they were done! We had planned to visit some of our other family and friends, but we ended up not have any time to do so. After the egg hunt we enjoyed the company of our family and had a relaxing time hanging out.
On Saturday, we attended our ward Primary Easter activity. Fred had to work and so he stayed behind...we missed him though! :0) We played games, did crafts, bbq'd hot dogs and of course, had an Easter egg hunt. The egg hunt was divided into several groups by age so that all of the kids would have a fair chance at retrieving eggs. We brought our niece Rae'lani with us and although she was positive that she "wasn't going to find eggs" lol...I reassured her that it would be fun and that she didn't need to be shy. lol Needless to say, Rae'lani and Madysen had fun gathering eggs together in their group. Mady was even upset that she didn't have enough and was adamant that she HAD to find more! lolSariah returned from the egg hunt with her group and had a basket of about 16 eggs. And of course, as sweet as she is, she shared a few with her little sister and her cousin Rae'lani. Our nephew Hadyn NEVER has a problem when it comes to "competing" and had no problem at all getting as many eggs as he could too! The activity was a great success and by the time we left, the children were worn-out...but happy! Ü
As we celebrated Easter this weekend, aside from the fun and egg hunts, we celebrate and remember the resurrection of our Savior, Jesus Christ. The First Presidency of the church said in their Easter Message:
"At this Easter season of hope and renewal we testify of the glorious reality of the atonement and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. The empty tomb brought comforting assurance and provided the answer to the question of Job, “If a man die, shall he live again?” (Job 14:14).
Because of the Savior’s resurrection we will overcome death and become the beneficiaries of His mercy and grace. In a world of trouble and uncertainty, His peace fills our hearts and eases our minds. Jesus is in very deed “the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6).
We give our sure witness that Jesus is the Christ. Though He was crucified, He rose triumphant from the tomb to our everlasting blessing and benefit. To each member of the human family He stands as our Advocate, our Savior, and our Friend."

We are Fred and Shenna Frost and we have 2 beautiful girls, Sariah & Madysen. We were sealed as an eternal family in the Los Angeles Temple on August 12, 2006 and it's been heaven ever since! We love being members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Ü Fred is a foreman in the dairy industry as well as a graphic artist. He is such a kind and easy going person and I am always amazed at how much talent he possesses. I am spoiled and I get to be a SAHM! Ü I have a passion for many things which includes photography, photoshop, crafts, and baking among others. Our oldest, Sariah, is in 5th grade and is way ahead of her time! She loves to read and write and is so intelligent and loving. Our youngest, Madysen, is 5 years old and is always smiling! She has been talking since she was 9 months old and can hold a conversation with you for hours! She's quite a girly-girl and will dance in front of anyone! lol We don't always have it together, but together we have it all!!
"Our homes are to be more than sanctuaries; they should also be places where God’s Spirit can dwell, where the storm stops at the door, where love reigns and peace dwells.”
